As Creekside Theatre launches a high calibre 2024 fall season, tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday May 24th for the November live performances by Dan Mangan – two-time JUNO award winner and two-time Polaris Music Prize listed musician and songwriter.

“I first saw him in Victoria a decade ago,” said Lake Country’s Cultural Development Coordinator, Ryan Donn.  “I appreciate his on-stage style and his artist advocacy – co-founding Side Door and ensuring artists keep their full merchandise sales.”

Dan Mangan lives in Vancouver, BC with his wife and two sons; and has toured extensively in North America, Europe & Australia. Dan also scored the feature film Hector and The Search for Happiness starring Simon Pegg; as well as television shows for Netflix (Hilda) and AMC (Unspeakable). Mangan’s 6th studio album, ‘Being Somewhere’, was produced by Drew Brown (Radiohead, Beck) over nearly three years of long-distance collaboration.

In 2017, Mangan co-founded Side Door, a community marketplace platform for the arts that seeks to democratize and decentralize the entertainment industry by allowing non-traditional spaces to be venues.

Purchase tickets online at www.creeksidetheatre.com from 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024.
