Project description

The City of Kelowna Bulk Metering Facility will establish a dedicated metering point between the City of Kelowna and the District of Lake Country’s water systems, as the District currently supplies water to the Kelowna Industrial Park in this area. A recent agreement with the City calls for separating the two systems and installing a bulk water meter to enable metering and billing from a single point. Additionally, relocating underground infrastructure to above-ground kiosks will improve worker safety by eliminating confined space entry risks.

A small section of Beaver Lake Road east of Jim Bailey Road will be closed to traffic during part of the project. The alternate route is referenced below and a signed detour will direct drivers to the east side of Beaver Lake Road via Carion Road.
