The Lake CounTREE program is running again this year. With 25 trees of each of 5 varieties, there is a total of 125 trees available for purchase (ONE per household) at $50 each. The District of Lake Country pays the other $100 to cover the full cost of $150 per tree so residents can help increase and maintain our urban forest canopy in our community with WaterWise and FireSmart trees. Get your order in early so you are not disappointed and miss out this year.
Online or in-person (at Municipal Hall) ordering will continue until the trees are SOLD OUT (note: 2 varieties are already fully subscribed), and tree pick-up day is Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Kel Lake Garden Centre on Shanks Rd.
