Lake Country Indoor Children’s Festival March 8th provides laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories for the whole family

The Lake Country Indoor Children’s Festival is taking over the Lake Country Community Complex Saturday, March 8th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Organizers are excited to offer this popular festival for families presented by Venture Commercial, featuring vendors, performers, magic, gym games as well as inflatables and a diversity of activities so there is something for everyone in the family. 

“This year’s feature will be Magician Leif David in the Creekside Theatre for shows at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm,” said Cultural Development Coordinator Ryan Donn. “Kids always enjoy the bouncy castle, and the gym games like four corner soccer and tae kwon do, as well as face painting and henna are activities for all ages. And no one will want to miss the chance to learn about fascinating reptiles with the Little Reptile Queen introducing snakes, lizards and more!”

The GESS Drama Department is participating in the Festival this year by offering a sneak peak of their theatre production at 11:00 a.m. in Creekside Theatre. 

For a suggested $20 donation per family at the door, this event is great value family indoor entertainment while the weather is still chilly outside.  Festival features like face painting and henna are always a hit. The $2 concession in the gym makes hot dogs available to fuel the fun.

Admission to the Children’s Festival is by donation with all donations going towards sustaining the event. Suggested donation for Admission is: $5/Child, $10 Adult, $20/Family.
