Notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 464(3), 464(4), and 467 of the Local Government Act (LGA) that a Public Hearing will NOT be held for the proposed Zoning Amendment Bylaws 1271 & 1272, 2025.
WHAT: The purpose of this proposed bylaw amendment is to rezone the subject properties, located at Lot 1 EPP83942 (15490 Carr’s Landing Road) and Lot 2 EPP83942, from RR1 – Rural Residential to RR2 – Rural Residential.

INFORMATION: The proposed bylaw and relevant information are available at Municipal Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding weekends and statutory holidays or by email request to planning@lakecountry.bc.ca. Any correspondence received in response to this Notice will be distributed to Council and may be included in the Council Agenda package and published on the District of Lake Country website. Written submissions for a public hearing that has been prohibited, will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on the date the bylaw is presented for third reading.

Parcel Tax Review Panel
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 204 of the Community Charter, the District of Lake Country will be holding a Review Panel in regard to parcel tax assessment rolls. Notices are being sent to registered owners of all properties being added to an assessment roll.
The 2025 Parcel Tax Review Panel will sit at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 6, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Hall. You may only make a complaint to the Parcel Tax Review Panel on one or more of the following grounds:
- there is an error or omission respecting a name or address on the parcel tax roll;
- there is an error or omission respecting the inclusion of a parcel;
- there is an error or omission respecting the taxable area or the taxable frontage of a parcel; OR
- an exemption has been improperly allowed or disallowed.
You or your agent must notify the District of Lake Country, in writing, of your complaint. The District of Lake Country must receive written notice of the complaint before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025. Please address all your correspondence to the attention of the Collector.
The parcel tax assessment rolls will be available upon request by email starting Thursday, April 17, 2025, or from the Municipal Hall during regular office hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm).
