Public Notice: FILE # RC2023-030 Road Closure Bylaw 1210, 2024
Notice of a proposed road closure and disposition of land is given in accordance with Section 26 and 40 of the Community Charter. 

WHAT: Bylaw 1210, 2024 proposes to close a section of 11th Street (Okanagan Centre Road West to Maddock Avenue) and to sell the land to the adjacent property owners to be consolidated with the owners’ lots as follows: 

  • The District is proposing to sell the northern portion of the closed road to Andrew Jacob Kujundzic to be consolidated with his existing parcels to form a single parcel. The District will receive $37,837.84 for the disposition of the land.
  • The District is proposing to sell the southern portion of the closed road to Barbara Joyce Rutherford to be consolidated with her existing parcel to form a single parcel. The District will receive $62,162.16 for the disposition of the land.

WHEN: Council will consider adoption of Bylaw 1210, 2024 at the February 18, 2025 Regular Council Meeting which will be held at Municipal Hall, 10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road at 7:00 pm.

PROPERTY: The proposed road closure is shown on the map below to be consolidated with Lots 15 & 16 Block M and 10787 Okanagan Centre Road West.

INFORMATION: Correspondence received in response to this Notice will be distributed to Council and may be included in the Council Agenda package published on the District of Lake Country website. Written submissions must be received by 4:30 p.m. February 18, 2025. Persons who consider they are affected will be provided an opportunity to make representations to Council.

Public Notice: FILE #: RC2023-025 Road Closure Bylaw 1237, 2024
Notice of a proposed road closure and disposition of land is given in accordance with Section 26 and 40 of the Community Charter. 

WHAT: Bylaw 1237, 2024 proposes to close a section of McLaren Road and to sell the land to the adjacent property owners, Nelson Martin and Kim Ann Martin, to be consolidated with the owners’ lot at 15851 Trask Road. The District will receive $168,000 for the disposition of the land.

WHEN: Council will consider adoption of Bylaw 1237, 2024 at the February 18, 2025 Regular Council Meeting which will be held at Municipal Hall, 10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road at 7:00 pm.
