Please be reminded that 2025 Business Licence renewals are due March 1st. Payment can be made by:
- Create or log into your MyLakeCountry account to view your notice and make payment online using a credit card.
- Pay in person at Municipal Hall during business hours.
- Payment through your bank could take up to five days to process resulting in a $50 late fee.
Payments not received by March 1st will incur a $50 late fee. Accounts not paid by April 1st will be cancelled.
Short Term Vacation Rentals:
Anyone operating a short-term rental in B.C. and listing on a platform, which may include, for example, Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com, is required to register through the Province of B.C. Hosts, platforms, and strata hotel platforms operating in B.C. must follow a simple online process to register with the Province by May 1, 2025. All applicants are encouraged to register early to ensure that their application can be processed before May 1, 2025. This will help to avoid disruptions to operations.
