Into The Woods

INTO THE WOODS - GESS This local production is Directed, Produced and Created entirely by teenagers who have a passion and dedication to theatre. “Into the Woods" is a musical that intertwines the stories of fairy tale characters as they pursue their wishes. It follows a Baker and his Wife, who venture into the woods to gather magical items from figures like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack in the Beanstalk. While the first act is whimsical and humorous, the second act reveals the darker consequences of their desires. With a rich score by Stephen Sondheim, the musical explores themes of ambition, relationships, and the true cost of pursuing dreams.
